EDIT:  FYI - there was a typo in the original post under rules of participation...  Guests must stay until Thursday and NOT Friday.  You may not leave the park from Wednesday through Thursday which is the day of the actual press event.

Yikes!! I agree extremely extremely crazy!
My days of donating $125 to stay up all night passed a long time ago.
Seems like they should have planned this event for a weekend if they actually want a turnout.

Idk, that doesn't seem to be worth $125 to me.

If you aren't already a season pass holder its really a steal.  For about double the cost of a regular ticket, you get to sleep in the park, be one of the first to ride a new coaster, they feed you snacks and breakfast, a tshirt, the private dinner and of course the scavenger hunt at night.

To me its tempting even as a season pass holder just to camp in the park and do the scavenger hunt.  The only part that disturbed me a little bit was that they don't tell you exactly how much of the proceeds benefit Boys and Girls club.  My guess is they are going to base that off of ticket sales but who knows.

this is actually pretty cool
they will get some good FREE press from it.
i would also do it if i had the $.

To top it off / make it complete They should also add in there a pass to the new Movie that opens up the following month.

Knowing New Jersey, was it because the park does not have a lodging permit?

Wow, only half kidding...

i wouldn't be surprised. most of the people that would go to this event would be enthusiasts who already have a season pass and dont want to pay over 100$

Good intententions but not surprising...NJ weather is not as preditable as that CA weather.
And I suppose nobody wanted to bring food into the park.   Wink

Now if they threw in one those new Cabanas with DirectTV for the night!!!

WE are going to R&S just because it is the only one we can go to . I really don't care what is open just want to go . I figured it is a perk of the pass and we should try to get the perk at least once .
